Best hotel or condos on Oahu to be able to walk to the beach for snorkeling?
I 'm planning a trip to Oahu in September and I know that Hanauma Bay is the best for diving, but no hotels nearby, right? I wake up every morning and walk to the beach for some great diving. I can drive for the rest of the day for the rest of the field on the island. Where should I stay? Also, I love the culture, food and nature Hawaiians, but not interested in the area of the city of Waikiki. There 's so much to do, I can' t decide! Planning to go to the Polynesian Cultural Center, Waimea Valley, shave ice at Matsumoto, daily diving, the reunion of exchange, and kayaking. What else should I be sure I do? Thanks! P.S. One more: the swim with the dolphins – where do you have that, and it is impressive, and you feel bad for the dolphins?

I would consult craigslist.org for potential vacation home offerings and there are other websites that permit homeswapping, if you are interested. I think your best bet is finding a home to rent near the water– maybe a travel agency can help too? Good luck and enjoy!
I think you should learn to surf– it is amazing and Hawaii is one of the best places to learn! (I did last year!)
