Where in Los Angeles could I buy a PLASTIC BUCKET?

WHAT!!!, you’re kidding aren’t you? There’s no plastic buckets in Los Angeles? But seriously, like your other answers you should be able to find one at a Home Depot, Lowes, Sam’s Club, Costco and even K-mart , Walmart or any hard ware store.

Yes, the hardware or building supply stores in your area should carry these buckets. Often, you can find them in, or near, the paint departments.
You can sometimes find 2 to 5 gallon buckets at your local grocery store too… especially if they have a delicatessen, or bakery.
Local restaraunts are another source…. as mentioned by someone else, you can often get pickles, or other food items in these, in bulk. Usually, the restaraunt (or grocery store) will throw these buckets away, rather than clean them up.
One more source… a janitorial supply company. Floor wax is often sold in 2 to 5 gallon buckets…. you might be able to contact a local cleaning company to see if they have any extra buckets.
