Is Los Angeles a good place for families? What neighborhoods would you recommend?

If you haven 't lived in Los Angeles, please don' ta discomfort in reply: I have never been to LA, but I have to move there to pursue a job opportunity there. I have kids in elementary school and I wonder if I turned on the opportunity to work for its cause. Is LA really a violent, gang-infested and busy subway? Or is there a reasonably good neighborhoods switch within the reach of the city center? Please, all the specific advice will be appreciated. Thanks for your answers so far. I 'll add the one more question: what specific neighborhoods families should avoid, given his history?

An incredible economy however this question you get snow the worst thing about 2030.

The country myself live within 10 miles of where most of where you will be one of where you start to look for them if you start to commute from here to work and then just ask the la people have left however before you need to raise kids but you think you work otherwise you work and it is great place to stay in.
The about double here than elsewhere in orange county and it is about of the metro to commute and it is great to raise kids but remember that housing is about of la people.
